Joseph Angotti currently serves as a Principal with Grouse Ridge Capital, where he manages the firm's early-stage venture investment strategy and leads M&A efforts focused on asset-intensive industries. He oversees the firm’s venture portfolio, which takes a generalist approach, focusing on pre-seed to seed-stage companies across the United States. Joseph has led early-stage investments in Subtl Beauty, Conservation Labs, Touchwood Labs, ERIN Technologies, Mechasys, Bluelight Machines, Voaige, and Verified (formerly Unum ID). Joseph also leads the firm’s M&A efforts for strategic acquisitions benefiting the family businesses, targeting traditional companies in asset-intensive industries such as civil construction, infrastructure, manufacturing, steel, and heavy industrials.

Prior to Joseph’s time at Grouse Ridge Capital, he previously held positions as a transfer pricing consultant at Ernst & Young and a chemist at Mylan. Joseph holds an MBA and Master of Science in Finance from West Virginia University. Joseph also earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Fairmont State University, where he transformed a walk-on opportunity with the football team into a three-year starter.
